MCF Foundation donates wheelchairs to three charity organisations

Málaga CF, via its Foundation, donates 35 wheelchairs to Asilo de los Ángeles, Hermanitas de los Pobres and Hermanas Hospitalarias.

Málaga CF owner, Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani, presided over the act, along with Mayor of the City, Francisco de la Torre, in which the MCF Foundation donated 35 wheelchairs to Asilo de los Ángeles, Hermanitas de los Pobres and Hermanas Hospitalarias del Sagrado Corazón. The wheelchairs will help improve the daily lives of the people who go to these non-profit organisations for help.

Also in attendance were Board member of the Club, Sheikh Nayef Al Thani; councillor for social rights, Julio Andrade; representative from the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, Sebastián Fernandez Reyes ‘Basti’; and Mar Torres, technical director of Málaga City Hall’s Social Department.

“Our president has made a wonderful gesture in donating these wheelchairs to our elderly people in Málaga, and these three charities who needed them”, comments Basti after the event.

“It was a great surprise as we needed these wheelchairs.  Most of our elderly people have dementia or Alzheimer’s, and need these chairs to move around.  It was an amazing surprise, and it’s great to have these wheelchairs bearing the Málaga shield.  It’s fantastic”, explains María Paz Galán from Hermanas Hospitalarias del Sagrado Corazón, to the MCFTV microphones after the event.
