Málaga CF Board member, Nayef Al-Thani, along with first team player, Brown Ideye; Club advisers, Antonio Benítez and Abdullah Ben Barek; and representative from the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, Sebastián Fernández Reyes ‘Basti’, presented the MCF Camp 2018 this Friday morning, following the first team training session. The municipalities of Benahavís, Manilva, Pizarra, Villanueva del Rosario, Nerja, Cuevas Bajas and Málaga capital will once again be the focus of grassroots football during Semana Blanca, Easter, as well as Spring and Summer.
An event that continues to grow every year in the province at the hand of the Diputación de Málaga and with the collaboration of the MCF Foundation, Coca-Cola, Fontarel, Pinturas Andalucía, Point Sport, Vialia and Copyrap, with the objective of focusing on the development and promotion of football, taking the sports and educational philosophy of the Malaguista youth ranks to all corners of the province.
Representatives of the local corporations of each one of the municipalities where the MCF Camp is being held attended the presentation. Also present was the sports deputy of the supra-municipal entity, Cristóbal Ortega, who highlighted the importance of these types of event to promote sporting activity in Málaga: “It’s an important day for the Diputación and Málaga CF. We’ll take Malaguismo to the province so young children will be able to enjoy Málaga in their own municipality”.
