MCF Academy results

The holiday period was packed full of matches for the MCF Academy. It was all square for Malagueño against Badajoz as the Blue and Whites went level in the 90th minute, whilst the División de Honor played two games, won one and lost the other.

Atlético Malagueño

It was a draw for Atlético Malagueño against CD Badajoz at La Federación. Despite Manolo Sanlúcar’s lads playing one of their best matches of the season, the Blue and White reserve team had to pull out all the stops to go level in stoppage time.

In minute 21, a good play by Alberto on the left wing assisted Hicham inside the area to put Malagueño in the lead. However, the rival turned things around with two goals in 30’ and 65’. Sanlúcar then used his entire attacking arsenal he had on the bench on the pitch. Thanks to a play by Rubén, the equaliser came in the 90th minute, the work of Joel inside the area.

Juvenil DH

Málaga CF Juvenil División de Honor played two matches over the holiday, with uneven results. In their first game, Francis Bravo’s team didn’t manage to overcome Granada CF, who claimed a 1-2 win from the Blue and White ground. However, the División de Honor retaliated on Saturday with a big 5-0 against Rusadir.
