A highly positive weekend for the youth teams who, with the exception of the Cadete Femenino side, all claimed three points. Manolo Sanlúcar’s boys were defeated in the most unfortunate way possible, an own goal in stoppage time.
Atlético Malagueño
Manolo Sanlúcar’s team suffered a painful defeat on Sunday. The Blue and Whites’ reserve team could have taken the lead on a number of occasions but ended up succumbing to an own goal in the 93rd minute.
The first half was very divided, with both sides creating a few chances to get in front. However, in the second half, Atlético Malagueño were far superior to Almería B, who didn’t cause any trouble for Kellyan at all. The good work of the rival goalkeeper, who saved two one-on-one opportunities, prevented the Blue and Whites from taking something positive away from this game.
Juvenil DH
A suspense-filled win this weekend for the Juvenil División de Honor. A good first half from Francis Bravo’s team led to a 0-2 lead at half-time. Vázquez Cultural reacted and managed to go level in 89’. However, the Blue and Whites went all out in the closing stages of the game and in minute 95 scored the third, decisive goal.
