Málaga CF defeated CD Numancia, at La Rosaleda, on LaLiga 1|2|3 matchday 11. Two quick goals from Blanco Leschuk, both from a Koné pass at the start of each half, led to the sixth league win out of six at Martiricos.
The match couldn’t have got off to a better start for Málaga. Koné, the main new addition to Muñiz’s starting-11, crossed from the left to assist Blanco Leschuk to net an early opener with a superb header (1-0, 1’). The fifth goal at home – and of the competition – for the Argentine striker. Shortly afterwards Dani Pacheco in minute 5 tried his luck with a long shot that was blocked by Juan Carlos.
Following the explosive start by the Blue and Whites, Numancia slowly began to get into the game, however without approaching the goal of the LaLiga 1|2|3 September Player of the Month, Munir. The rival from Soria managed the ball in the wide area, against an MCF awaiting their moment to score again. The time came in minute 23 with a rapid action woven between Leschuk and Juanpi culminating in a shot by the Venezuelan in the rival area.
In the final part of the first half the Malaguistas dominated all aspects of play, always showing great danger in their attacking strategy. An imperial Leschuk became the epicentre of each attack. At half time the home side was still in the lead by 1-0.
History repeated itself, almost a carbon copy, in the second half. Before the first minute was up, Blanco Leschuk came close to a goal with a powerful shot at the target. Immediately afterwards, Koné, this time from the right, served up a golden ball for the number ‘9’ to convert (2-0, 47’). The sixth goal for‘pichichi’ Leschuk so far this season. An electric Koné forced Juan Carlos to make a great save in 51’ following a potent attempt.
The African forward was substituted by Ontiveros in minute 66 to a loud ovation from the stands. The solid performance from Muñiz’s men made it impossible for the rival to make any reaction. The fans were behind their team throughout with continuous cheers and chants. In the 84th minute Pacheco, who also received a standing ovation, was replaced by Lacen.
Munir, past the 90-minute mark, deflected a shot from Alain to join the party. In stoppage time Héctor came on in place of an applauded Juanpi Añor. At the full-time whistle the scoreboard showed a 2-0 result, verification of a clear reality.Málaga CF remains at the top ofLaLiga 1|2|3, with 25 points, 18 of which were achieved from the ‘six out of six’ home wins at Martiricos.
