The main objective of Málaga CF Femenino is to ‘Malagueñizar’ the team and opt for quality, homegrown players. Proof of this is four reserve team players moving up to the first team.
Lorena, Yoli, Futu and Alejandra will defend the Málaga CF shield next season in Liga Reto Iberdrola. With the exception of Alejandra, they have all trained and debuted with the Blue and White women’s first team in the 19/20 season. Indeed, Lorena scored a goal wearing the Malaguista jersey on 8th December against UDG Tenerife ‘B’ in the team’s debut home game.
Futu, like Alejandra and Lorena, will all wear a first team number, all making a move up in their professional careers as footballers.
