Manu Molina: “We must continue working with humility and patience”

The Huelva-born midfielder spoke to the media after the Málaga-Levante match. “We would have liked the victory, but we need to focus on the positives,” he said.

Review

“It felt like a match with Málaga dominating, at least for me. We had many clear chances and then we get hit with that penalty, without them doing anything. It's a shame because we've had three losses, and this draw left us with good feelings on the pitch. We would have liked the win, but you can't ask for more from the team, so we’ll focus on the positives.”

Almost scored a goal

“Recently, I've been getting into good positions a lot. Sometimes they go in, sometimes they don’t. I try to learn from every training session, and eventually, I'll score more regularly. We must continue working with humility and patience. If they don't go in for me, I hope they go in for my teammates.”

Partnership with Ramón

“Good, both Ramón and I like to have the ball. It’s been clear that we’ve worked well together, and we’ve felt comfortable on the pitch, both in Santander and today. The 90 minutes will do him great, and I’m very happy for everything he’s gone through following his injury.”

Team situation

“We’re missing that pause in the game. Up front, we have young players with flair who lose the ball, but this is about learning. We’ve come into this category with very young players, and it’s all about moving forward. We need to know when to slow the game down and when not to. When I was young, I was a ‘crazy’ player on the field, and you learn from your mistakes. We’re a team, and we know the unity we have, so it’s about continuing.”
