Málaga Genuine returned from Valencia with hearts full of joy after an unforgettable weekend at Phase 2 of LaLiga Genuine. The Ciudad Deportiva del Valencia CF became the stage for great moments, where the passion for football and the values of inclusion took centre stage.
Since their arrival on Friday 7th February, the Blue and Whites felt the magic of the competition. While some players participated in a solidarity tournament organised by the LaLiga Foundation to support victims of DANA, the rest of the team enjoyed a stroll around the city. A perfect start to a weekend full of laughter and camaraderie.
This second phase of the 2024/2025 season brought together 24 participating teams on the field. Here’s how the Málaga team's matches went:

Fundación Málaga CF 1 - 3 Real Betis Balompié (16:30, Pitch 2)
Sunday 9th February
Elche CF 2 - 2 Fundación Málaga CF (11:00, Pitch 4)
Beyond the results, the team excelled in the Fair Play ranking, earning the maximum score of 200 points and sharing the top spot with Villarreal CF, Córdoba CF, FC Andorra, Club Gimnàstic de Tarragona, CD Eldense, and UD Ibiza. This recognition reflects the values of respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship that define our Supercapacitad@s.
The return home was filled with emotion. La Rosaleda awaited our team with a warm welcome of applause, hugs, and pride, closing another chapter in this special journey and looking ahead with excitement to the next phase of LaLiga Genuine.
