Málaga CF returns to La Rosaleda this Saturday in an official match following two consecutive away games. Against Girona FC, the Blue and Whites will play their first home match of the second round, and coach, José González, will sit on the local bench for the first time.
Again, the fans will play a fundamental role in this match. Twenty of them, 10 season ticket holders and their guests, attended Thursday morning’s training session, thanks to Marathon Bet, to give the team all their support ahead of the imminent match.
Following a prize draw on ‘Día del Malaguista’, this lucky group of fans enjoyed a Meet & Greet experience with the first team players.
The day got off to an early start, with the group meeting at La Rosaleda to get to know the pitch. They took a personalised photo at the official ‘Marathon Bet’ exit arch, leading on to the field of play. Subsequently, they boarded the first team coach and headed to the Ciudad de Málaga to enjoy breakfast in the same facilities where the players have lunch.
Following training, players and fans met and exchanged messages of encouragement and affection. The big family photo attests the moment of communion between the fans and the team.
Later, the 20 fans returned on the official coach to La Rosaleda. On arrival they enjoyed the Museum & Tour at the stadium and had lunch in the VIP area.
