Curtain up on the Málaga Carnival at La Rosaleda

Two groups participating in the ‘Concurso Oficial del COAC Málaga 2018’, will be performing in the vicinity of the Blue and Whites’ stadium, in the lead-up to Saturday’s match against Girona FC.

The Carnival is celebrated in a very special way at La Rosaleda stadium. The Málaga CF Foundation, within a collaboration agreement with the ‘Fundación Ciudadana del Carnaval’, will undertake numerous initiatives to bring Malaguistas one of the most representative celebrations in the city, that every year gains more prominence within Málaga’s cultural calendar.

Ahead of Saturday’s match against Girona FC, corresponding to LaLiga Santander matchday 21, kicking off the series of events will be the performance of two groups, both who are taking part in the ‘Concurso Oficial del COAC Málaga 2018’, at the ‘Fondo Sur’ side of the Blue and Whites’ stadium (next to the Club’s Official Store).

‘Los Independientes’ and ‘Mi madre es una santa, pero yo…’ will be in charge of the pre-match entertainment, from 17:30, for all the Malaguistas who come to encourage their team.

‘Un Cervantes Blanquiazul’

In addition, the Club and the ‘Fundación del Carnaval’ will adorn the Cervantes Theatre with the Malaguista colours, during one of the semi-finals of COAC 2018, under the ‘Un Cervantes Blanquiazul’ initiative.

Those who attend the fourth semi-final of the Official Groups Contest wearing the Málaga CF Blue and White jersey, who take a photograph at the Cervantes Theatre and share the image via social media citing the ‘Fundación del Carnaval’ (@CarnavalMLG), Málaga CF (@MalagaCF), and using the hashtag #CarnavalMálagaCF), will enter the draw to win an official jersey, a football signed by the entire squad and two VIP tickets for a match at La Rosaleda.

Enjoy the Málaga Carnival and wear the Blue and White colours of your team!
