Atlético Malagueño knows the fixtures for their return to the bronze category of Spanish football. Dely Valdés’ boys will start the season at home on the 25th or 26th August against San Fernando, and will end the competition, again at home, against CD El Ejido the weekend of the 19th May.
Malagueño, in Group IV, will face nine Andalusian teams: Sevilla Atlético, Marbella, Granada B, San Fernando CDI, El Ejido 2012, Linense, Recreativo, Almería B and At. Sanluqueño; five from Murcia, Lorca FC*, Cartagena, Real Murcia, UCAM Murcia and Jumilla; three from Extremadura, Villanovense, Badajoz and Don Benito, one from La Mancha, CF Talavera; and one from Melilla, UD Melilla.
The Blue and Whites will face off against the other three reserve teams of the category on matchdays 5 and 24 (Granada B), 11 and 30 (Almería B) and on 13 and 32 (Sevilla Atlético). In addition, they will visit historic grounds such as La Condomina the weekend of 14th October, and Nueva Condomina on 15th or 16th December, when they face UCAM Murcia and Real Murcia respectively. The derby against Marbella will be on matchdays 2 and 20, whilst the clashes against the dean of Spanish football, Recreativo de Huelva will be held on matchdays 11 and 30 of the competition.
