Málaga supporters club, known as ‘Ciudad del Tajo’, opens in Ronda.

First team players Willy Caballero and Diego Buonanotte attended the opening of a new meeting point for Málaga fans living in Ronda on Wednesday afternoon.

There are more than 100 members in the Ronda-based association, or ‘peña’, which was officially inaugurated in a ceremony attended by Francisco Martín Aguilar, a consultant advisor to the Board and an Academy coordinator; plus two members of Málaga's first team, Willy Caballero and Diego Buonanotte. Both the players and Martín Aguilar stressed the importance of the new Málaga fans’ association in Ronda as it’s undoubtedly a hub of support in the interior of the province.

After the representatives presented a cloak, a commemorative plaque, and a shirt signed by the first team, to the association’s president, Pedro Corona, the players signed autographs and took photos with the many fans who participated in the opening of ‘Ciudad del Tajo’.
