Málaga-Real Zaragoza, a special day

The last match with the fans at La Rosaleda Stadium was matchday 31 last season against Real Zaragoza, our rival this Sunday.

That 8th March was an unforgettable day. We weren’t 11 against 11, we were far more than that. There were 25,000 Malaguistas at La Rosaleda cheering on the team. Málaga CF’s judicial administrator, Jose María Muñoz made his debut that day in the Blue and White temple. Despite the final score (0-1) we remember that day with great affection and a certain nostalgia. It was a very special day. Our last one together.

Although we can’t wait to see all the Blue and White colours in the stands and the Malaguistas enjoying themselves, we know that safety and the common good must continue to prevail. Through the good and bad times the fans are always with us. And we know they are still supporting us from home during every match. We feel their energy. We want our fans to support us like never before, even though they’re not at La Rosaleda, by sending us all their energy on Sunday.

Our goal is to feel as close to our fans as we can and relive that day during the match on 7th February at 16:00. The fans’ support will be crucial to secure a home win. Using the hashtag #YoEstoyEnLaRosaleda, fans can upload photos and videos on social media wearing their Malaguista finery. Shirt, scarf, cap, Blue and White flag ...

We want this Sunday to be special. This Sunday #YoEstoyEnLaRosaleda, and you? Get involved!
