The Nationale Nederlanden Plogging Tour is an event that promotes the practice of physical activity with picking up litter. This incredible event took place yesterday in the city of Málaga, and elsewhere, with the backing of City Hall.
Sport and sustainability? Obviously, Málaga Genuine couldn’t miss this. Several members of the team and coaching team donned their shorts and ran along the Guadalmedina river that forms the backbone of the Costa del Sol capital. The volunteers ran the river’s 6 kilometres, collecting more than 2,100 kilos of waste that are no longer part of the landscape of our beloved city.
The action is part of the Club's campaign known as 'Malaguistas x Naturaleza' (‘Malaguistas x Nature’). Málaga was more Genuine today and feeling ever closer to the environment.
