The Málaga CF Femenino Reserve Team has won the League after defeating CD Benalmádena by 3-1 in Segunda División Senior Andaluza matchday 25, in the Málaga province group.
Goals from Lorena, who opened the scoring in minute 2 of the match, Tatiana and Aurora served to catapult the Blue and Whites to the top of the League.
With one match remaining to bring a definitive end to the competition, the Malaguista squad has been proclaimed champions having scored 121 goals and conceding just 11.
Having won the league championship, the women’s reserve team will now take part in the promotion playoffs to ascend to Segunda División Nacional, a category in which the Málaga CF women’s first team currently competes.
