On the occasion of the presentation of the second Andalucía Golf Tour getting underway today, Friday in Estepona, a charity event was held at Hotel Barceló Marbella – organised by Sported, in favour of Sarah, which featured a large representation from Málaga CF. Abdullah Ben Barek (Club adviser), Basti (MCF Foundation), Marbella-born player, Javi Ontiveros and Malaguista coach, Víctor Sánchez del Amo were all present.
In addition, Víctor made a coaching speech: ‘Designing a winning dressing room. Keys to leadership and team management in sport to achieve high performance within the company’. Monies raised will go to the Asociación Somos Tu Ola in support of Sarah Almagro, a young girl from Marbella who lost her hands and feet due to a meningococcus which caused her a sepsis.
The Club gifted Sarah a Blue and White shirt signed by the entire first team, and showed its total support for a cause that aims to raise funds for biomechanical prostheses allowing Sarah to take care of herself and not need the permanent use of a wheelchair. Go Sarah!
