MCF Futsal wants to continue making history

The Blue and Whites are playing this Saturday, against UD Monachil de Granada, in the first leg of the promotion play-offs to the futsal Third Division.

The Pabellón Rubén Ruzafa in Rincón de la Victoria has been the home of MCF Futsal during its debut this season in senior competition, and tomorrow from 6pm will host a momentous match with the aim of moving up a category.

This is the first leg of the tie that Blue and White coach, Ettore Stecchini analyses as follows: “We have the first leg at home, and should we achieve victory will mean twice as much, winning promotion and taking MCF Futsal as high as possible. The season has been outstanding, we arrive at this point undefeated and hope to continue as such until the end”. After ending the regular season with the title, “the team is preparing physically to be on top form for the play-offs. We’re up against the strongest rival, champion of Granada who were superb in the league. A very experienced team with spectacular quality, but we’re facing this tie with maximum enthusiasm”, comments Ettore, who is extremely happy with the 18/19 season: “A dream season. We haven’t lost one match, it’s been a historical feat starting in this way. The clear objective was promotion and we’re on the verge of achieving it”.

A large number of fans are expected to attend the Pavilion in Rincón to support the team to climb a step higher on the national futsal stage.
