The Entity confirms that it has acted in accordance with the law in due time and form. According to article 36 of Royal Decree-Law 11/2020, of 31st March, which the organisation itself indicates, the deadline for the return of the proportional part of the season ticket is 14 business days. Article 10 of Royal Decree 537/2020, of 22nd May, states that it will come into effect from 4th June 2020, reaching its conclusion on 24th June. The official statement was issued by the Club on 3rd August, therefore, in effect, "there is no legal obligation."
The Entity has responded to all season ticket holders who have made the claim in time. As it stands, negotiations are underway for compensation within the legal period of 60 days.
MCF wishes to express its deep regret for this exceptional situation. The complicated economic framework in which the Entity is involved curbs the financial room for manoeuvre to the max. As such, it has been impossible to adopt all the compensation formulas sought by the Club for the sake of its viability.
