The Malaguistas began their journey to Oviedo yesterday, where they’ll play the LaLiga SmartBank matchday 12 fixture tonight. The expedition left Málaga for Barcelona yesterday, where they had a stopover before arriving in the Asturian city. However, due to inclement weather, the plane was unable to land and returned to Barcelona. Once in Barcelona, after ensuring the conditions of the trip, the team headed off again and arrived in Oviedo.
The change of plans caused a delay to the training schedule and Pepe Mel’s team was unable to train at the Real Sporting de Gijón facilities. This morning, the team held an activation session prior to tonight's match at the Carlos Tartare Stadium.
The Malaguista entity would like to thank the club from Gijón enormously for the facilities provided.
