Pamela and Kerlly from the Blue and Whites are taking part in the Copa América, and Paula Fernández in an elite mini-tournament in Ireland with Spain’s Under-19s.

Málaga CF Femenino is expanding around the world. In total, three Malaguista players are currently wearing their national team jersey. Midfielders, Pamela and Kerlly are in Chile taking part in the Copa América Femenina 2018 with Uruguay and Ecuador respectively. Meanwhile, Paula Fernández is in Ireland with Spain’s U-19s.

Copa América Femenina

The first to debut in this tournament, the highest football competition at national level, held in South America, will be Uruguay’s Pamela González, in the match between Uruguay and Colombia today – 4th April – at 21.45.

In addition, Kerlly Leal will play her first game of the tournament tomorrow, 5th April from 21:45 against Venezuela.

Elite tournament – Spain’s under-19s

Paula Fernández, a regular in the ‘Rojita’ line-ups, defended the national shield on 2nd April against Turkey. Spain defeated Turkey by 0-5, and the Málaga Femenino midfielder provided an assist to the third goal of the match and was part of the starting line-up. The U-19s next game is on 5th April against Ireland, kicking off at 19:00.
