Málaga CF ‘Cadetes’ are Coca-Cola Cup champions

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s ‘Cadetes’ are 2013 Coca-Cola Cup champions, following an emotional penalty-shoot out against the Valenciana side in the final, held in Madrid. The ‘Malaguistas’ previously defeated Deportivo de la Coruña in the club final.

In the club final, Málaga Club de Fútbol defeated Deportivo de la Coruña in a penalty shoot-out, following a goalless draw at full time.  Impressive penalties and an excellent performance from the Blue and Whites keeper, saw the ‘Malaguistas’ take victory and the title of best club in the competition.  The boys went on to qualify for the grand final of the Coca-Cola Cup.

The 2013 Coca-Cola Cup final was held at the Vallecas Stadium.  Málaga Club de Fútbol took on the Valenciana team in their quest to become tournament champions.  Both sides had a great amount of respect for each other on the pitch, and after a goalless draw, the winner was decided on penalties.  A formidable performance by the Blue and Whites’ goalkeeper saw them come out on top and deserved winners of this glamorous competition.
