The Portuguese-born midfielder states that the definitive team isn’t yet complete, and looks at new coach, Bernd Schuster: “There are still a lot of the same players here from last season, players still yet to arrive and our new coach…little by little the locker room is filling up and it’s important that we’re all moving in the same direction. I think we’ll learn a lot from the new coach.” Duda adds: “The foundation is much the same as last year, and with regards to reinforcements, the team is the same or perhaps even stronger than last season. The coach has already shown that he’s a winner, and together with players arriving shortly and our already solid foundation, we can achieve great things. Time will tell when we get back to work.”
Regarding the new coach, Duda states: “Pellegrini did an excellent job here and left the team with a firm foundation. Schuster has had great success with other major teams, and along with his team he’ll do the same here. We’ll let him do what he needs to do.”
The Blue and Whites’ captain is pleased he renewed his contract with Málaga CF a few days ago: “I’m really happy we reached an agreement and I’m here for another year. I’ll make the most of every minute.”
