Statements by Nacho, Juvenil DH coach

New format

“This is the format that has been adopted this year, due to COVID, not disputing the Copa del Rey and making the first round a two-legged tie to make everything faster. As such, in the final there won’t be as many teams in concentration, they’ll be four rather than eight. I’m assuming it was done for that reason. Just like they have changed the theme of the league with two phases, which has never been done before, in order to adapt”.

Athletic de Bilbao

“We know about them, we know they have very good players, the fullbacks and the wingers. And upfront they have strong strikers. Their strong point is on the wings. We’ll need to look at more videos and analyse them more”.

Lezama, a benchmark

“The players are delighted. We’ll be up against one of the best youth teams in Spain, Athletic. It will be a wonderful experience visiting Lezama, which in terms of facilities is a reflection and a guide for many youth teams that go there to learn from them. The lads are really happy”.
