Luis Hernández: “We’re completely focused”

The Malaguista central defender affirms that #SportingMálaga “is a crucial match. We’re aware of what’s at stake, the rival we’re facing and the significance of this game”.

#SportingMálaga

“It’s a crucial match. We’re aware of what’s at stake, the rival we’re facing and the significance of this game. We’re completely focused on what we’re going to be up against and how we’re going to approach it”.

Enthusiasm

“I’m fixed on my team. The reality is, whether or not there is pressure, what we have to do is win the three points. We’re not thinking about anything else. This is a fundamental match for us. We’ll face it with every bit of enthusiasm in the world, and prepare well for the game, as we have done up to now. I hope we play a good match, but above all compete well so we can claim the three points”.

Atmosphere

“I’m sure there’ll be a lot of fans at the stadium supporting their team. It’ll be a great footballing atmosphere, but we need to focus on imposing our gameplay, and avoid any nerves. There’s a lot at stake, a lot of responsibility. Obviously, it’s not the situation we all expected, but it is what it is. We need to go out and win”.

Direct rival

“The reality is that the team works well, and all that remains is for us to convey this on the pitch, above all with results. We need to win now. It’d be amazing to end this streak of no victories, and leave a direct rival a considerable distance away”.

No luck

“What we need to do is compete, be intelligent, recognise where we’re going wrong and what is penalising us. It seems that when we do a lot, it takes a lot for us to win, whereas it appears straightforward for rivals to score goals and take the three points. We all need to give a little more, and hope that luck is on our side.

Fans

“We could ask for little more from the fans who continually support us during this difficult situation regarding results and dynamic. I hope they keep believing in this squad as we’re going to win the three points. The team is working well and is united. We’re confident and preparing for the match well in order to move forward”.
