Lugano in Uruguay’s starting-11 in Confederations Cup match
Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Diego Lugano was part of Uruguay’s starting-11 in last night’s Confederations Cup match in Brazil. Uruguay were defeated 2-1 by Spain in their first Group B match of the competition, and face Nigeria on Thursday.
Diego Lugano, played for the entire 90 minutes in the match against Spain, and wore the captain’s armband. Pedro scored Spain’s first goal from outside the penalty area. Lugano was shown a yellow card.
