The Copa del Rey is a special tournament. It allows teams competing in different categories to reunite, and it was the turn of Numancia-Málaga this Tuesday evening. The Reds and Blue and Whites have had a special relationship for some time, which was very much evident before kick-off. This type of atmosphere is, undoubtedly, very important in football.
From a sporting aspect, both teams shared possession in the wide area of the pitch in the initial stages of play. Equality prevailed until Recio opened the scoring with an impressive goal.
