Miguel Torres Gómez (Madrid, 1986) arrived at the Club in August 2014, and is celebrating his fourth season with Málaga CF, being one of the three team captains thanks to his experience, personality and contribution, both on and off the pitch.
With a remarkable career spanning more than 200 matches in the First Division (62 with MCF), winning two Leagues with Real Madrid, one with Greek outfit, Olympiakos and 12 internationals with Spain’s under-21s, Torres has been an example of regularity and hard work in each one of his performances.
The ability to play in any position in defence, fulfilling solvency as both a winger and a central, defines a team player who always prioritises the collective over the individual. His versatility and professionalism has earned him the respect of his teammates and the fans’ appreciation. A Club player who will continue this season and another two at Martiricos.
