Press conference

Lobete: “It's a shame; we played a great game, but the points slipped away”

The Málaga forward held a press conference after the 2-1 defeat at El Sardinero against Racing. “The fans are always there for us, both in the good and the bad times. We’re going to give everything for them,” he stated.

Good match without reward

“It's a shame. You start winning and have the feeling you're playing a great game, but then the three points slip away.”

Correcting mistakes and continuing to work

“I was caught up in the rebound. I saw the two goals as being very similar, but we played a great game. We’ll keep playing like this, and we’ll improve defensively. The key is to focus on the fact that we played really well, and that’s how we’ll get points. Now, at home, we’ll try to play like this or even better.”

Millimetric offside

“Yes, I saw it. As soon as the whistle blew, I focused on thinking about the next play and moving on. It was very close, and it's a shame. You feel upset because it was the 2-2.”

Focus on Levante

“We're staying focused on ourselves, thinking about the next match and not relaxing. We want to take the three points against Levante.”

First goal with Málaga CF

I thought about my family, friends, and those always with me. Of course, I also thought about my grandfather.”

A very special bond

“The fans are always there for us, both in the good times and the bad. We’re going to give everything for them.”
