The Blue and Whites were in training this Saturday morning at La Rosaleda’s facilities, hours before travelling to Lezama for Sunday’s clash with SD Amorebieta.
The Malaguistas focused on tactics and going over the final details ahead of the match. Hicham, complaining of a contracture to the calf muscle; Jairo with a rib contusion; and Ismael Gutiérrez, with flexor tenosynovitis in the big toe of his left foot, trained outside the group.
After the session, Blue and White coach Natxo González called-up the following players for #AmorebietaMálaga (23): Dani Barrio, Víctor Gómez, Javi Jiménez, David Lombán, Juande, Ramón, Paulino, Brandon, Chavarría, Dani M., Febas, Antoñín, M. Peybernes, Vadillo, Jozabed, Ismael, S, Gassama, Cufré, D. Strindholm, Andrés Caro, Kevin, Roberto and Dani Lorenzo.
Juande, Paulino and homegrown player Andrés Caro are back on the list. Jairo and Hicham, due to the aforementioned injuries, and Escassi with a one-match ban, are not part of the squad list.
