The artist told the story of Pablo Ráez, the protagonist of the Siempre Fuerte Awards, in a story format divided into three parts. Her narrative left the audience full of admiration.
The MCF Foundation’s IV gala was magical. The halo that usually surrounds this awards ceremony was present last Thursday at Museo Picasso, flooding the audience with emotion. A great part of that was down to Cristina, La Nieta del Dulcero. The artist masterfully detailed the figure of Pablo Ráez in three instalments of a story and poem.
She started from the back of the stalls, walked the aisles and captivated everyone present with her perfectly interpreted story.
Cristina, the granddaughter of Pepe, ‘el dulcero de Zafarraya’, has been bringing life to stories and poetry for over 15 years. She has loved verse since childhood - she was only eight years old and could recite Homer's Iliad. She has since grown as an author and interpreter to reach a truly impressive level of excellence.
Her studies in dramatic art and her instinctive talent for lyricism have made her a point of reference in the cultural and artistic world of the city.
Thank you, Nieta del Dulcero for providing us with one of the most delicious moments of the Siempre Fuerte Awards. Good taste, without a doubt, runs in the family.
