Atlético Malagueño
The reserve Malaguitas drew against CD Huéctor Tájar in the 7th match of Group IX in the Third Division. It was the Malaguistas who got ahead first with a smooth goal from Luismi in minute 12. Barely eight minutes later, Mula sent a powerful pass to visitor David Aguilar’s area and into the net, taking it to 2-0. Just before the break, in minute 38, the Granada-based side successfully managed a long-shot, delivered by Mario.
In the second half, both teams worked hard to take control of possession and play intensified. In minute 71, Manu Daza notched another on the scoreboard with a goal-kick. The Blue and Whites, directed by Manel Ruano, turned up the attack in the final stages of the match and created various danger moments for their opponents, but they were unable to overcome their defense. With this draw, Malagueño remains unbeaten in the league and is second on the table with 17 points, just after Antequera CF who have 19.
Málaga CF Women’s
Málaga CF beat IES Luis de Camoens by two goals to nil in the fifth match of Group IV in the Second Division (Women’s). Raul Iznata’s girls got ahead in minute 22 thanks to Estefanía (1-0) and the definitive 2-0 came with a goal from María Jiménez at the beginning of the second half, in minute 46. These Blue and Whites also remain unbeated; they’re second in the league with 13 points and just behind Sevilla FC, who have 15.
Juvenil A
The Malaguista squad impacted UD Tomares with a decisive three goals to nil in the seventh match of Group IV in the División de Honor Juvenil. Málaga started the scoring with a great goal from Escardó (1-0) and Bonilla got the other two to deliver the final result (3-0). The Blue and Whites remain the leaders on the table with 18 points.
