Kuzmanovic, Weligton and Keko train on the pitch

The Blue and Whites resumed training this morning, for over an hour and a half at the Ciudad de Málaga. Kuzmanovic, Weligton and Keko stepped on to the pitch to undergo running and specific exercises. Koné returned to the group.

On this warm morning, ball work using various exercises was given priority, in the presence of goalkeepers, Kameni, Boyko and reserve team keeper, Samu Casado, as well as 11 first team players, plus central defender from the youth ranks, Gabri.  Recio was forced to abandon training during the final stage of the session due to discomfort to the adductor muscle in his left leg, pending tests.

Kuzmanovic, Weligton and Keko stepped on to the pitch this morning; the first two underwent light running, and the Madrid-born winger focused on a more specific workout, under the orders of fitness trainer, Hugo Camarero.  The three players also underwent recovery exercises in the gym, along with Charles (bone oedema in left knee), and reserve team defender, Iván Rodríguez who is suffering from a long-term injury.

Bakery Koné, having returned from his international commitments with Burkina Faso, alternated continuous running and preventative work in the gym, separately from the group.  The remaining internationals were absent from this morning’s session: En-Nesyri, Ricca, Juanpi, Rosales and Mikel, who are in action with their national sides today.

Tomorrow, Wednesday from 10:30, Málaga CF will return to training at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium.
