The Malaguista reserve team won by two goals to one in an even game against UD San Pedro, held this morning at the Málaga Federation football ground. Manel Ruano’s boys took an early lead as Jaime Moreno opened the scoring in minute 4, and again in minute 11 the Venezuelan overcame the rival defence to finish off a good pass from Mula inside the area, to take a strong 2-0 advantage. However, San Pedro didn’t lose face and joined the scoreboard in minute 31 (2-1). Both sides generated chances in the second half, but the result didn’t change. This victory sees Atlético Malagueño as co-leaders of Third Division Group 9, along with Atlético Mancha Real (both with 71 points), who drew this morning against UD Maracena.
