The event, held at Venta del Túnel, was attended by some youth players who are now making waves in the first team – Portillo, Recio and Juanmi – who were all received with great excitement by the dozens boys and girls from La Academia.
 
Also at the event were the Club’s Consultant Advisor, José Carlos Pérez; the General Manager, Fernando Hierro; La Academia director, Manuel Casanova; plus other members of the board including Antonio Benítez, Abdullah Ben Barek, Julen Guerrero and Pepe Salguero amongst others – no-one wanted to miss this event that unites all the players and coaching staff of the different Malaguista teams.

The lunch served as a tribute to the veteran members of the Blue and Whiites’ younger categories, who over many years, have trained many hundreds of kids and who today remain at Málaga Club de Fútbol’s La Academia.
