The Malaguista player has sustained further discomfort related to the Achilles’ tendinopathy in his right leg. The Serbian has undergone conservative treatment in recent weeks, which after a successful first phase, slowed down over the past few days, and he has again been in pain. The midfielder sustained a partial degenerative tear in his right Achilles’ tendon, and will now undergo surgery.
The Blue and Whites’ midfielder, born in Switzerland, will undergo the operation on the afternoon of Friday 9th December, led by doctor Lukas Weisslopft in Switzerland.
