Keko: “Refereeing decisions are affecting us this season”

The Malaguista winger visited CEIP Severo Ochoa as part of the ‘Blue and White Values’ campaign, where he attended to the media: “There are still many matches remaining, and it’s still possible”.

Maintaining enthusiasm

“We remain enthusiastic as the direct rivals who are still not winning means we maintain the same distance from them. There are still many matches remaining, and it’s still possible”.

Possibilities

“Sometimes the best thing to do is not look too far ahead and focus on each game at a time. Other times, when you have a tough match calendar ahead, as we have, the optimistic thing to do would be to look at the schedule and say; well maybe we won’t win these two or three games, but go on to win the last seven games, which may be more straightforward. You never know, but right now we need to grab whatever we can”.

Fight for every match

“Whilst there are possibilities, and we can, I think it is our obligation. The feeling in the dressing room is to go out there and win every game, forgetting what’s happened in the past”.

Arbitration

“Throughout the entire season there have been many refereeing decisions that seem to have always gone against Málaga, which have affected us a great deal. We don’t want to think about that, but it is a reality, and to date, more has been taken away than has been given to us”.
