Once again, the celebrations will take over both Málaga's city centre and the Real del Cortijo de Torres fairground. But this has been anything but an ordinary year for Málaga CF, following the club's historic promotion to LaLiga, secured on 20th June in Almería.
Taking into account the views and suggestions of the people of Málaga, Málaga City Hall has chosen Juan Francisco Funes Arjona, head coach of Málaga CF, to deliver the official opening speech of the Málaga Fair in this unforgettable year.
The Loja-born coach, one of the key figures behind Málaga CF's return to LALIGA EA SPORTS after an eight-year absence, will officially open the city's celebrations by delivering the opening speech on Saturday 15th August, starting at 21:00.
