Juande returned to the starting line-up after a few weeks out of action due to physical problems. As such, he’s delighted with the result and his role in the match. “After a tough time for me, with injuries and being unable to help the team, it’s great to be back and win. In addition, I did my bit and scored a goal. I’m so pleased,” said the defender.
Despite being up against a tough rival, Juande highlights the team’s hard work throughout play. “We knew Amorebieta compete very well, particularly at their home ground. In the end we suffered somewhat, but the team had a lot of attitude. We showed we give our all on the pitch,” he stated.
Lastly, he described the victory as a turning point after a highly negative dynamic. “The team is in a good dynamic in terms of gameplay, but the results weren’t going our way. We were convinced our reward would come,” he said.
