Amorebieta, kilometre 30

Málaga CF secured an away win, the second of the season. Three well-deserved points to bring an end to the negative dynamic.

Check out some of the highlights from #AmorebietaMálaga in our usual kilometre:

Another goal for Brandon

Brandon scored the 0-1 in Lezama. He was brought down inside the area and scored his fourth penalty of the season from the 11-metre mark. With this goal, he has scored in two consecutive games and accumulated seven goals in LaLiga SmartBank. The ‘pichichi’ is on fire.

Outstanding Juande

As he did on our visit to Gijón, and four occasions last season, Juande scored once again. After being sidelined through injury, his return was fantastic news. But this wasn’t enough for him. He wasn’t satisfied with his solid performance in defence, he made the most of a great Vadillo cross to seal his own particular hattrick – a return to the pitch, a goal and three points.

Three essential points

After eight matches without doing so, Málaga returned to winning ways in LaLiga SmartBank 21/22. The team showed signs of improvement in previous games, and last weekend’s draw in the final second was a cruel finish. This is why these three points are crucial. Following the victory, the team has ended the negative run and are 10 points away from the playoffs and the drop zone.

First visit to the Blues

Despite the cold and rain, the Malaguistas’ historic first visit to see the Blues was a great experience. As usual, the team was supported by several Malaguistas who had travelled to Bilbao. We felt so at home! We hope to visit you again, Blues. Thank you for your hospitality.
