Juan Soriano: “We’re seeing a united team”

The Blue and White goalkeeper spoke to MCFTV following the duel with CD Tenerife: “We wanted a win, but it wasn’t to be”.

Three points was the objective

“We managed to take the lead in 27’ or 28’, it’s always hard to go in front and we held out until the 80th minute. We were aware that CD Tenerife are a very physical team, making the matches seem so long. It’s another point in the pot. Obviously we wanted a win, but it wasn’t to be. Now we must focus on the match against Cartagena”.

Strong defence

“We’ve been doing a good job in defence in the past two matches and wanted it to continue. It’s hard keeping a clean sheet in several games, but it’s one more point. Now it’s all about Cartagena. We need to keep improving and working on those details that penalised us today”.

A united team

“Not just in this game, but throughout the season we’re seeing a united team. We’re all in this together and doing all we can in every match. We need to keep working hard”.
