“In the first half Ibiza were superior with a lot of pace, particularly in those 25 minutes. In the second half I think we were very good. I remain with the team's reaction, it’s not easy at all against a side with such good automatisms. I’m proud of the reaction and character to come back from 2-0, and the contribution of the people on the bench, which was key”, said the coach.
In relation to the substitutions made in the final stretch of #IbizaMálaga, “the introduction of Roberto and Haitam was very important, as well as Jairo, Cufré and Genaro, all five were key. This team never gives up, regardless of the result. That’s the character and identity of the team, the commitment to what is proposed and I’m proud of the response,” stated José Alberto.
“Scoring points away from home in this division is always very difficult, especially because of how the match started out. Now we have to focus on playing well at home, in front of our fans. If we look at Málaga from the previous game it’ll be hard for us to let points escape. Time to recover now and concentrate on the three points against Alcorcón en La Rosaleda”, added the coach.
