“The return of Juankar is good news.  It’s always pleasing to be back in a line-up; our possibilities for this game will focus around second-line players plus strikers we’re missing due to the absences of Cop and Roque.  We’re somewhat lacking in this type of specific player, but we have other alternatives and we’ll look for the right balance.”

Sporting, a tough rival

“It’s going to be a hard-fought game, and one in which we can’t afford to make the slightest mistake, as the rival is organised, works well and is also very honest.  However, they’re sitting in a compromising position and have come from a defeat with the maximum need for points.  This team will not make anything easy for us in terms of our attacking strategy, so we’ll need to be precise, constant on the attack and overcome their tight, organised and hard-working defence system.  We must always remain aware of the fact they’ve shown their players on the wings can move quickly.   Although we’ll have possession at times, they have no problem stealing possession and getting away quickly.”

Vital match

“We have to approach this game with the mentality that there are vital points in play that will move us closer to reaching our objective.  I think the rival will have this mentality, as they really need the three points to achieve their goal.  I want to mentally prepare our players and send a message to the fans that these points have to be vital, and it’s not going to be an easy match.”

Support and giving our all

“It’s going to be a hard-working match, we’ll need patience, and I think if there’s a match from here to the final in which the players need the fans’ support during the good and bad times depending on how it develops, then it’s this one.  This is the match in which we must give our all to ensure the points stay at home, so let’s see if between us all we can do it.”
