Regardless of the results, the Navarran-born manager believes the assimilation of concepts is more important: “We’re pleased with the results and with our performance so far during the pre-season.  We’re focusing much more on working hard, but if this is accompanied by positive results, then even better.”
 
Even though the results aren’t as significant in these games, the coach adds: “They generate excitement and confidence, which helps us to continue working as hard as possible in preparation for the start of the League competition.”
 
The contribution of the younger talent to the team was highlighted in the Schalke Cup, but Gracia isn’t ruling anyone out: “I think we have an experienced squad, so I don’t like to rule out any player because of their age.  It’s not easy to play matches the way in which the team is doing, and I’m thrilled both for the young and not so young members of the squad.”
