The Blue and Whites left Dusseldorf airport for Zurich today, and later moved on to Feusisberg where the team is staying. Málaga CF will be at Hotel Panorama until Thursday, following Wednesday’s friendly match against Qatar’s national squad.
The ‘Malaguistas’ were all in training this afternoon at the Freienbanch ground near the hotel, with a double training session scheduled tomorrow morning and afternoon at the same location.
Club vice president, Moayad Shatat joined the group in Zurich, along with assistant director general, Manuel Novo. Also accompanying the team are Club adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar; director general, Vicente Casado, and sporting director, Mario Husillos.
Once at the hotel, the Blue and Whites awaited the arrival of former Swiss cyclist, Alex Zulle, the winner of two Tours of Spain, who had come to see his friend, Marcelino Torrontegui, current Club masseuse, whom he knew during his cycling career.
On Wednesday at 7 p.m., Málaga CF is looking forward to a special match against Qatar, a rare pairing between a Club and a national selection, taking place at the Rapperswill Stadium.
