In order to win at the Nou Camp rivals need to fulfil many requirements “such as a strong defence in order to push the rival to the limit, and creating as many attacking options as possible through rapid transitions.  The home side had generated numerous situations in order for a team such as to win, and we did.”
 
Gracia adds: “All the credit goes to my team.  My players deserve all the recognition.  We deserved to win today, we played the match we needed to play, took advantage of our opportunities, maintained a solid defence and grew from there.”
 
This victory gives Málaga CF 38 points and keeps the team in seventh position: “We gained three very important points which are extremely valuable following two consecutive defeats.  We’re thrilled we’re getting ever closer to securing First Division permanency.”
