Jairo: “The team gave everything today”

The winger analyses the victory against Albacete BP to the Club media: “We always want to win, we won’t let go”.

No easy victory

“The team won all three points, which is what we wanted. It was a complicated game as the rival were playing to remain in the Second Division and we know how motivated these teams are. From a personal point of view, I’m very happy with the match, the assist and the positive streak from playing consecutive matches which is so important for me and my confidence”.

The team has ambition

“With eight games remaining, we would never have thought we would have salvation so far advanced. We’re thrilled, but aren’t thinking any further ahead than celebrating this win and ending the season as high up the standings as we can. We always want to win, we won’t let go”.

Commitment

“Some of the players were very tired at the end of the game, the weather was pretty intense, yet maybe you couldn’t tell. The team gave everything today. If we have to suffer we will, we’ll do it as a team. We all compete to the max, this is essential for the team and of course the coach”.

A key assist

“I had to give Caye a little confidence (laughs). I’m delighted for his goal and another assist for me, which is important for a player in the long run”.
