Iván Rodríguez is in congratulatory mode. The defender who came the ranks at La Academia MCF celebrated his renewal with the Malaguista squad with a session out of the pitch at La Rosaleda’sAnnexe.
One of the positives this morning was the return of Juanpi to group work. The midfielder has left behing his calves issues and was back to work as normal and full strength.
Adrián, Blanco Leschuk and Pau Torres remained in the gym carrying out preventative work. Also with them Mula and Harper, both doing their respective recovery tasks. The Scottish-born forward then went out on the pitch with physical trainer Manu Gestoso, and carried on progressing. Meanwhile, Luis Hernández and Juankar received physiotherapy.
The team will have a day off tomorrow and will get back to work on Wednesday to prepare for Sunday’s match against Extremadura UD (4 p.m.)
