Iturra: “There’s life, here nobody can surrender”

The Blue and Whites’ midfielder debuted in an official match in his second time at the Club: “Unfortunately, my return wasn’t as great as I’d hoped”.

Return to La Rosaleda

“Unfortunately, my return wasn’t as great as I’d hoped, but what can I say. The team gave everything, whereas the rival had two shots at goal and were lucky with one of them. I haven’t got many more explanations as to the result. We tried, we didn’t back down, but perhaps we didn’t have the most clarity or patience. We weren’t defined enough to have scored a goal”.

Conscientious preparation

“I appreciate the coach’s words, I also appreciate what he’s saying to me. I try to give my all, I can’t relax at all, if not I wouldn’t be able to play football. I did a lot to ensure I was physically fit, and so I could perform well in one of the most competitive leagues in the world”.

There’s life

“There’s life, the season is very long and here nobody can surrender. We must get out of this situation, and that’s the message we need to convey. Hope is the last thing to go, as a positive run can happen at any time. The team needs to believe that we can move forward, we must never give up. We have the enthusiasm of a lot of people, in a Club with great tradition, so need to go to Getafe for the three points whatever happens”.
