The forward, on loan from FC Porto, and with vast experience in LaLiga, has already joined group training.
Alberto Bueno Calvo, born in Madrid on 20/03/1988, reinforces the Malaguista attack for the rest of this campaign. The player arrives from Portuguese outfit, FC Porto, and returns to Spain where during his career he has scored 36 goals in the First Division, 9 in the Second and 3 in the Copa del Rey.
Career
Alberto is a seasoned player in Liga Santander. He debuted in the competition in the Real Madrid ranks, where he developed as a player in the youth categories. In addition, he debuted in the UEFA Champions League with the Whites.
Following time with Real Valladolid, in two stages, and English side, Derby County, Alberto signed to Rayo Vallecano, where he remained for two seasons. During his first campaign with Rayo he scored 11 goals, and 17 in the second season, sparking the attention of various clubs at European level.
Finally, it was Julen Lopetegui’s FC Porto who took on Bueno’s services in 15/16. Following the departure of the current national coach, the forward returned to LaLiga where he played in the ranks of Granada CF and CD Leganés.
Youth international
Alberto Bueno was proclaimed Spanish Youth Champion with Real Madrid, being the highest national goal-scorer of the category, opening the doors to Spain’s Under-19s.
With ‘La Rojita’, he lifted the European Championship title in 2006, again winning the accolades of top scorer and best player of the tournament.

Bueno, who took part in training with his teammates in this Tuesday morning’s session, is a new member of the Malaguista attack.
