Intensity and goals in the last session of the week
Málaga CF’s first week of pre-season training ended with a match against Atlético Malagueño at the Federación. Two blocks from the Blue and White squad competed for 45 minutes against the Malaguista reserve team.
Málaga CF ended the first week of training with a friendly against Atlético Malagueño, who returned to work a few days ago. This was the first contact for both Pablo Guede and Juan Francisco Funes’ teams within the summer preparations.
MCF’s first starting line-up included: Carlos López; Juanfran, Bustinza, Murillo, Andrés Caro, Víctor Olmo; Genaro, Álex Rico, Jozabed; Loren and Rubén Castro. Whereas Malagueño kicked-off with: Anaim; Bilal, Mati, Recio, Jon; Ibra, Jesús Martin, Marcos; Calvo, Chupete and Cristian.
A very intense start allowed Rubén Castro, Loren and Álex Rico to see the goal for the first time this pre-season. Once the first part was over, and after a few minutes of refreshment, activation and instructions from both coaching teams, the second block of training began.
Málaga CF went out on the main pitch at the Federación with: Carlos López; Ramón, Arriaza, Cristo; Issa Fomba, Dani Lorenzo, Febas, Larrubia, Haitam; Kevin and Fran Sol. Funes also made several changes to Malagueño’s starting-11: Arturo; Sergio Cortado, Ángel Mateo, Mati, Nawfal; Destiny, Rafita, Valcarce; Oñate, Izan and Juanmita.
Kevin, Issa Fomba and Fran Sol also scored goals. Tactical automatisms, technical corrections, match situations, set pieces, goals and many kilometres in the legs for all the players who took part in today's morning session.
After nine sessions and today’s training, the team will rest tomorrow, Sunday. Pablo Guede’s men will return to work on Monday at the Federación to continue the pre-season.
